The gap will be fine. What I did was cut a bit of cardboard and fit it in there so it doesn't collect more dust than usual. The card that usually comes with 20L5s is very expensive and will drive the price of the monitor up. I believe it is an SDI card so you won't need it anyway. Everything else you need is already there.

Just ask the seller about the mark. Does permanent marker even stay on glass?

Be careful this monitor is heavier than other 20" PVMs and the handles don't help too much because they are too shallow.
