PS2 is the best looking console ever, including the logo. Absolutely timeless design.

I have a fat PS2 and a Playstation, both of which I want to play imported Japanese NTSC games on. Both consoles are PAL.

I used to have a Swap Magic that I used with the PS2 but I lost it moving houses, and I don't think it worked for PS1 games. Anyone have advice on what the best solution for me is? I'm open to mod chip/soft mod/disc swap or whatever else works and is still purchasable - I did some Googling and it looks like this market has become much smaller than it was when those consoles were modern.
