I guess that kind of works. I figured that yeah, she goes to Hell (and in a totally ordinary accidental way, she slips and breaks her fucking neck) but that's the same stage that leans the most heavily on the fourth wall and that it's all made up, e.g. "You should be banned from every game." "Even this one??" plus it goes right back to nonsensical with Lammy sending herself back to reality through a fax machine. Which raises the question, is Rammy in hell all the time or just there for a gig? How'd she get out the TV- er, out of Hell and into Versus mode?

If I'd played it at a very formative age, I feel like if anything got to me, it would have been right near the start when Lammy's rushing around her apartment trying to turn off all her furniture and electronics, just from the sheer sensory overload of so much noise and animation and then everything turning itself right back on as soon as she runs out the door.

Never heard anything about that other than a couple of the Parappa characters like Katy existed before the games themselves did, and that the artist does weird concept-cartoon-acid-trip stuff in general.
