My TV has this issue too. Research tells me it needs degaussing (demagnetizing). There's a coil you can buy that will fix this issue, but I've yet to order one and try it out myself.

If you manage to get a hold of one, or find another way to fix it, let us know the results.

Where can I get an inexpensive degaussing coil nowadays? A 27" Trinitron I picked up yesterday is in serious need of demagnetization on the corners of the screen. Sadly, I'm not tech savvy enough to build my own.
