Why don't you buy high-quality repros instead of expensive ass authentic games, /vr/? Why are you still so skeptical?

With a donor cartridge, the game was originally a different title, usually of very low demand like a sports game, for example. This means that the PCB is real, the capacitors are real, any resistors are real, and the shell is real! The ROM chip was replaced with the game featured in the title, and this game will play EXACTLY the same as the original cartridge!

These reproductions are GREAT for those folks who want to play these rare games on authentic hardware, but don't have the cash or the collector mentality to spend their life savings buying the authentic versions. This game cartridge will provide exactly the same experience as the authentic cartridge.

If the game has the save feature, the battery has been replaced, so don't worry about getting a game that doesn't save!

So why buy donor-based reproduction cartridges? Well, most reproduction cartridges, especially the ones from China, use a flash chip, not an EPROM, so they are not the same thing. Also, the ones made in China usually have very cheap cases that are not as durable as the original ones. Many of them don't work properly. Many of them have PCB's that are too thick and wear out your console.
