What are some bad games that are worthy of a remake?

To clarify, I'm talking about games with interesting ideas (a gameplay mechanic, an art style, story, etc.) that could be worth revisiting, even if they didn't clear the bar on the first pass. It's unlikely these games would receive any developer attention, of course, so this is purely hypothetical

"JRPG" and "WRPG" are design styles. It's possible to make a Japanese WRPG (Wizardry Alternative) or a Western JRPG (Anachronox).
