It's just really unpolished for a project that's been open sourced for quite a number of years. The biggest issue being is that there is no raw mouse input. And by default the sensitivities for the Z and Y axis don't match up, creating a real inconsistency.

It you are used to playing games like doom and quake, where you have 1:1 mouse controls and you can zip around and it feels really tight, than Marathon as played via the Aleph One source port will feel gross. I recently picked up an Imac G3 to play around with as I remember using them in primary school to play things like Nanosaur and Bugdom, So I'm keen to install Marathon on there and see how it runs in a native mac environment.
