WHAT were they THINKING?

Hello hello.

I'm very picky about my controller interface. If it is a retro style game or emulation I'll prefer my SNES style USB controller. Problem is, lately, I've been running into situations where the games don't incorporate directinput, only xinput. And all the highly rated ones I can buy don't seem bothered about mentioning if they are one or the other or have a selector switch. Anyone have or know of a SNES style controller that works off xinput? I'm not really interested in using middle-man interface options, I'd rather just have it all be hardware. And I'd like one that doesn't have analog sticks if it exists somewhere.

I like the PAL/JAP one because the NA one looks so boxy and I don't like the controller button colors.

My snes controllers look like pic related.

Do i use retrobrite to make it go back to the white-gray that originals look like?
