Games like Seiken Densetsu 3, Final Fantasy V and Live A Live are good examples of games that people tend to praise a lot and hold in very high steem. But there is a shitload of fan translated JRPGs for the Famicom and Super Famicom (not a weeb; using the Japanese terminology because these were Japan-only), and I was wondering what are the must plays or really good JRPGs for these systems that have received a fan translation.

Ewhac is the best one. People actually from the industry talking about their experiences long ago developing games for the 3DO and also certain difficulties from porting 3DO games to the PS1. They show games they personally had a hand in and other games from the 3DO.
