It has a disjointed story with extremely cliched and shallow characters, some of the worst writing ever ("Will started to develop feelings for Kara", ffs), amazingly detailed graphics (based on some horrible shojo designs that thank god don't translate into the sprites), great soundtrack, fun gameplay, solid stats progression (a rarity in Quintet games) and rushed game design (Shadow's cut powers, for example). I think it's rated fairly enough. It's a solid game but indeed easily the worst of its "trilogy" in all respects except graphics and maybe music, depending on your taste.
