Spartan X 2 was meant to localized here in the US as well, but it was cancelled last minute. Understandable, as IREM's NES games didn't sell very well in the USA, especially now that newer systems came out. Sqoon is rare. Metal Storm is rare. About the best selling IREM game would be Kickle Cubicle.

Fun fact about the NES Kung Fu: Thomas is actually a background object for most of the game. The enemies are all sprites. He only turns into a sprite when he's leaving the stage and goes up the ladder. This was done to prevent flickering.
