my childhood TV was a twentysomething inch Emerson from the 80s

one day I turned it on and after a few minutes of watching cartoons it made a god-awful noise and then started smoking in the back.

I thought the house was going to catch on fire.

I don't remember the exact model number (didn't pay attention to that can stuff when I was kid)
