I wonder if somebody will hack this so it runs ROMs out of the SD card slot or USB slot since this runs on Android? If so, this thing could be the best machine to run retro games on. Running cartridges + roms with top quality on HDTVs or CRTs using original controllers would be nice.

Fucking ARM machines. Why does it have to be such a goddamn headache finding one for playing roms and shit?

Who in their right minds decided to pair up 5 fucking cartridge slots with a fucking cell phone chip, a cheap one? That's all it fucking is, a shitty phone core in a big box. Or sometimes they don't include the box. All it fucking needs is ports, a decent selection, but there's always so much wrong with it! No VGA. Composite only, not even S-video. No fucking sound(headphone) port! Idiotically fucking tiny MICRO sd! Even extremely basic shit like a few USB ports.

They could have stuck in a 2ghz chip, for everything that could run. Which is the whole fucking point, the device out of the box is nothing at all remarkable, it's just a challenge for some people, who will bang their heads at it just to see what they could you make run on an oddly limited machine.

I went to a lecture about some arm boards. For some reason, they all ended up standing around for half an hour at the end, what the fuck? There wasn't even any discussion about the cubieboard. Then the damn pub had free popcorn, and everyone else was preoccupied about food.

So I was reading up on the Retron 5 and noticed that it plays Famicom and Super Famicom games. Now I've been looking for a way to play FC and SFC games without mutilating my systems/games (I have a Game Genie for the SNES but it's very unreliable), but I don't want to dump 100 bucks on a Retron 5 because I already have all the systems it plays games for (minus the FC and SFC of course).

So I'm wondering if there's any "multi-system" out there like the Retron or Retro Duo that can play FC and SFC games.
