>Even if this were true, who the fuck gives a shit when emulators such as Snes9x, UltraHLE, and Bleem were doing their thing since early 5th gen. Your library is mine now with mods and more graphical options. But its not, it wasn't and it hasn't ever. Just from the sheer number of games and innovations made in the industry primarily in the early 90s.

I was into emulation back in 1999-and the early 2000's. With emulators like Genecyst, Neticle, ZSNES, early MAME, NeoRageX -- it used to take an hour to get one NeoGeo game through a 56k modem. I was playing Playstation 1 games in 2000-2001 using a pirate version of the Connectix Virtual Game Statiom, which I found to be a much better PS1 emulator than Bleem. I would use to rent PS1 games and pop them into the CD-ROM drive of my PC, surprisingly most would work pretty well. Despite the emulation still not being perfect and hit and miss at times. I would use the Gravis GamePad Pro, which did use a licensed PS1 gamepad design. The d-pad was so shit on this controller.
