OK, I know I'm supposed to stay just behind Mary until near the end of the race for the Jiggy, but no matter how much I press the A button, I can't get just behind her. I don't know what to do. Please help!

I was surprised when I found out how many people hated racing Canary Mary in Banjo Tooie. Yeah, it was dumb button-mashing, but it was a nice break from the usual collectathon routine. I thought it was exciting.
