I had an argument earlier today about this game on a facebook retrogaming group with a guy who happened to be the admin of the group.
We(the members of the group) were discussing the game educatedly when he jumped in and started trash talking the game. He said childish crap like "this game is retarded, jumping over obstacles is for retards" ... "there are not enough enemies, which makes the game too easy and retarded".
Then he even lied about the game, he said you can't finish without the crossbow which is not only stupid it's an obvious lie and last of all he admited he HATED the game but said he was being 100% unbiased on his judgement.

I called him out on his bullshit about the weapons, posted videos of the game being beaten with the dagger, the lance, the torch and even the axe, then i told him that disliking the game because you have to jump obstacles OR because you think it's too easy is alright, but these are not legitimate criticisms to the quality of the game, this is a matter of taste and jumping obstacles is the main characteristic of the plaforming genre, which the game belongs to. I said "if you don't like jumping obstacles maybe platformers are not for you".
What did he reply? "Dude i know you love the game and that's ok, but the game is crap, you're just being nostalgic"
Word by word this is what he replied.
I told him that he was full of bull shit and only calling me nostalgic in a futile attempt to discredit my arguments when i clearly proved him wrong.
