There's this short manga called Wangtangchan the Yurutto hunter about UFO Catchers. It's great. It doesn't really live up to the potential of its premise, but oh well. You can find it online.

Speaking of which, Wangtangchan the Yurutto Hunter is a manga about a world where everything revolves around claw machines. And... I like it.

Remember the first volumes of Yu-gi-oh, where they were playing all sorts of mundane games? Wouldn't it be great if they played pinball in one of those games? I dream of a pinball manga, where they would compete in high-stakes tournaments on imaginary machines with impossible mechanics. Like a machine where... the playfield is underwater! And there's little merpeople swimming around in the playfield, and the bad guy is mean to them and hits them with the ball, but the protagonist finds a way to help the merpeople and they repay him by winning the game for him when all seems lost. Goofy shit like that. It might seem ridiculous, but there's actually a manga like that about those claw crane games. It's only on its first chapter though, or at least that's all that's been translated. Here it is:
