Soldiers of Fortune, or The Chaos Engine for everyone outside the USA, was a strange Smash T.V./Zombies Ate My Neighbors type game by The Bitmap Brothers that was released on the SNES, Genesis, Amiga, and a few other platforms probably.

Pick a character, go around shooting everything, collect money, upgrade your character/weapon/special ability, repeat. Either I suck at it or the game is hard, I never could tell. Still good fun. Best part is that it can be played co-op with a friend, or you can have an AI team-mate(though that does split the loot, making the game somewhat harder towards the end).

Nothing ground-breaking, but should be played by any fan of Smash T.V. or Zombies Ate My Neighbors who hasn't given it a try yet.
