However, if you can muster Japanese, there are a lot more options. Here are ones I've played and enjoyed (I don't know a lick of Japanese outside of stock animu phrases):

Efera & Jiliora: The Emblem from Darkness - The cutscenes come fast and thick, but a little experimentation can get you through this action-RPG. Haven't gotten too far admittedly.

Gensou Tairiku Auleria:
Good action RPG from Taito/Winky Soft. Solid mechanics, good graphics and a fabulous musical score. However, to get anywhere in the game you have to talk to multiple people, multiple times. Very confusing to progress between dungeons. Took me a while to figure out what the menus do.

Kaze no Densetsu: Xanadu - There's probably a good game in here, but I can't find it behind the impenetrable amount of text you need to advance the plot. Menus are English.
