I highly advise against PS1 FFV.

Loading times and general slowdown are not even the worst part about the port, but the horrible job the localization team did.

Whatever you do, be sure you DON'T play the psx remakes of FF4, FF5 and FF6.

Unless you have a fetish for loading screens and bad localizations, of course.
