Uncharted Waters is kind of like this, but the duels are incomprehensible to me and the combat is turn based. Which is all kinda neat.

Planning to, spaniard waifu and the idea of a somewhat SRPG pirate game has me convinced. But I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hell, yeah. Koei used to make some interesting stuff. I wish they still did stuff like this rather than rehashing Dynasty Warriors for the 20th time.
