I have never ever seen anyone consider EDTVs a type of SDTV or that SD only refers to the line count without taking into account interlaced vs. progressive, so I don't know where you live or what places you hang around in where that's the case, but you really should have specified that before I wasted my time typing all that shit. I honestly have my doubts that you actually know for a fact that your set supports 480p, since you've yet to even tell us what model it is, but I'm done giving a shit.

I had a friend who as late as 2011 was still using composite to hook up his PS3 even though he had a spare HDMI cable lying around. This one time while I was visiting him (he lived in another town at the time) I thought to do him a solid and switched the cables while he was doing something else and set it up to output in 1080p, then when he turned on the PS3 I told him what I did and asked him what he thought about the picture quality. He literally shrugged and said he didn't notice a difference. He later thought to move the PS3 from the living room to his room to watch some Netflix or whatever, and he ended up just grabbing the old composite cable to hook it up.

I never got all that good at PC shooters (the one I played most was UT2K4) and was too much of a pleb to master switching weapons with the keyboard, but even I know that method HAS to be faster than using the scroll wheel. The absolute fucking state of /vr/, holy shit.

Anyone else found it silly how in the DS port, you can bring Magus to fight the Dream Devourer, and another Magus shows up? Not to mention you'd think your Magus would react more strongly to meeting himself, or the whole situation, really. I think he just says something alone the lines of "No... Impossible!" Goes to show you how rushed the extra content was.
