Holy shit Ecco the fucking dolphin

Always gave me a very realistic feeling of exploing beautiful and often terrifying ocean caverns and shit. Then you get to shit like Tube of Medusa in the second game. The whole thing is gorgeous, even the Dreamcast game excels at this.

It's time for another thread about the most stress-reducing and comfortable places in video games.

I'll start.
Before I even really knew what video game companies and the SNES even were, my family had bought a Genesis. I played sonic and NBA Jam and shit, but this motherfucker right here, I would just pop this baby in whenever I felt like relaxing and listening to the calming sounds of my underwater adventure. I never knew what to do in the game, I don't think I ever made it past the second screen, but none of that mattered due to the most relaxing atmosphere which I don't think I've ever felt in a video game since.
Something about it that I just can't explain.
