/vr/ - Retro Games

Could video games be made for the old target audience again of just your common boy and gamer geeks? Does that market still even exist or has the internet split everyone up too much? I would say that Xbox, Sony, and Steam caters to these audiences now, but there's something not genuine in these audiences compared to late 80s and throughout the 90s (though everything started to marginalized near the late 90s with the PS1 and snes).
