You sound like a right faggot, I enjoy the fuck out of Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and Rise Of The Triad, as these are all genuinely *fun* games. I had NO nostalgia for Rise Of The Triad, I didn't grow up with it, I hadn't even seen gameplay of it. I played it for the first time this year, and I thought it was an extremely fun game, and I would gladly play it again; I feel bad that I haven't played it until now, that I had been missing out.

You sound like you only care about the feeling of nostalgia, not actually enjoying the game itself, like the kind of guy who just avoids anything modern out of pure principle, even if it's something he might actually like.
