Just because you only know the one famous time it was removed doesn't mean it didn't constantly happen. There's probably something like 75-100 games where blood was removed. Blackthorne, Art of fighting, super castlevania IV(removed from both the title screen and recolored green multiple times in game)

I actually had a Saturn while Playstation was blowing up and as much as I love the Saturn, it was rough then. Mainly because of how bad sales were compared to the Playstation.
You go into funcoland and they have entire walls of stacked ps games to choose from, meanwhile theres a Saturn bin. You might find a super puzzle fighter 2 in there but besides that it's 40 EA sports titles, and a copy of rise of the robots 2.
