the details are interesting and someone posted the scaled one without texture filtering, it may work for future stuff and finally replace the autistic HD deviantart-russian tier texture packs, but i would wait until the Nvidia Gameworks stuff is out next year, i think it was this one that the guys at doomworld used to make those 2x sprites

also, even with said textures, it wouldn't help that some quake 2 monster models aren't that good for that, i wish chillo could look at it, but he does mostly Q1 stuff
