I've played an embarrassing amount of Mario Party 1 by myself. Probably on the order of 50 games. Because of this, I was born in the Party, moulded by it.

Then one day at University, a bunch of unsuspecting friends decided to play. We did 20 turns on Luigi's engine room.
By turn 10, I had 3 stars.
I asked them: "Is anyone having fun?"

Then we shut it off and I haven't played since.

Nothing pisses me off more than the rise of twats using the phrase "bad design", like it's fucking fairy dust they can sprinkle on every argument the have.

There's a two way street with it every time. Is Castlevania's jump arc bad design? Yes says person A: "it's too hard and punishing" person B on the other hand says "No, it's challenging. Without it, the game would be go easy".

When someone (a twat) says "bad design" in videogames, they mean "this was hard and I don't like it"

Is Extreme Heights just bugged in OpenRCT2? Any roller coaster I build will never be used by people ever because the test results never finish. Even after half an hour of real time the results will still be not yet available.
