I have issue with "is this a good CRT?" with no additional information or links to specs given.

However, I don't get why telling someone what degaussing is is a bad thing. It's as irritating for me to write out for the umpteenth time as it is for you to read, but I am genuinely trying to clear up any possible confusion, because there is a lot misunderstood about CRT's.
