Not him, and I'm one of the biggest Beyond and Legend of Oasis fans on this board, but they're quite different from LttP. I wouldn't fault someone for preferring one over the other.

This is the big one in my opinion. I was burned by the Sega CD, almost got a 32X but was smart, then basically burned by the Saturn and Dreamcast (even though I love them anyways). It was sad times.

Legend of Oasis is fantastic if you like action puzzlers.

Magic Knight Rayearth has an iffy translation but is also really good.
