I've been sick all week but I got some more tweaks I'd like to do for GMOTA. Now whiffing the powered sword doesn't consume MP, and hitting shit with the thrown sword gives a big chunk back, and you get even more once you get the throw upgrade.
I've had some people complain about the fists being underwhelming so I'm currently trying out giving the fists autofire. I'm not quite 100% on it, I actually might try making punching be a burst fire attack: As in you click once, rapidly throw three punches, and then an uppercut. Like the Kaiser Knuckle from Aria of Sorrow. Because I'm already noticing some annoying shit with holding fire here. There's been a few times I've thrown my sword again when I didn't want to, and you can see here I wind up decking a living armor shortly after stunning it with the uppercut.

I'm also going to let the player throw the powered sword very soon, it'll work kinda like the old rocket sword with the same quirks: Powerful splash damage but the sword just straight up vanishes. Along with all this shit, I'm also going to try navigating around Zandronum's aggravating limitations to make it so you can snatch the sword with the chain, and the stun overload upgrade is going to get changed from a damaging explosion to a stun AOE burst like the boomerang, but it'll still deal extra damage to whatever stunned monster you shot.
