I hate any game where it appears to be difficult at first glance but only requires the rote memorization of arbitrary level layouts. Its like this shit was solely designed to push hotline minutes.

>purposefully misleading item placement
>watch a full playthrough and the game is stupidly short and easy if you know exactly where to go (or more appropriately where not to go)
>enemy firing patters are practically identical each playthourgh

Fair point. Preserving it in a broken state is the more humane thing to do but then again on the other hand...

Attempting the repairs gives us better insight on how it would have functioned and it was probably left in an incomplete state in the first place. I have a feeling as long as the case is intact its always going to hold its value.
