It's complete. It's about as abridged as you'd expect an RPG to be but overall was a good adaptation.

Fou Lu gets a better ending here Yuuna still gets to fuck off sadly

Yuuna still gets off scott free if that's what you're asking. Though Ursula mentions they're hunting him down.

It does change the ending somewhat in that Fou and Ryu don't fuse and instead Fou is given a second chance to find peace by traveling with Ryu. They also really play up the Mami importance.

The whole point of the game is that Fou and Ryu where diametrically opposed. As cool as it would be to battle Yuuna it would also be too cliche and frankly a bit saccharine. Ryu and Fou needed to fight because their paths and ideas are just too different.


If it makes you feel better in the Manga Ryu forgoes the fusion and instead takes Fou with him to show him the good side of humanity

they gave one dream sequence where we saw his adult form and had no reason to suspect it was prophetic in any sense because said adult form appears in the literal last hour

again we don't SEE any of that until the literal last second of the game.

You don't meet him at all again until Eden and there he's all "yo Im a dragon too"

compare that to Fou Lu where we actually SAW his journey in its entirety we didn't even get glimpses of Teepo. Once you where separated that was it. He was a non entity. An example of telling over showing.

You could have done a lot with the character but they didn't. Have him appear at various points as a mysterious ally or enemy, you can't just put all of it into one scene and expect us to care that's just sloppy
