Focken loved the movie so I got the Game Boy game. Not a great time. I would only really play the first two or three levels and get bored and give up, it's just not that good. It had a single console multiplayer hide and seek minigame though which I honestly did play every so often with people
I looked at the N64 version years later (always thought about renting it but never did) and I would have LOVED it as a kid

Loved the movie as a kid (apparently I saw it in theaters at least four times) so my dad got me the Game Boy Color game. Best thing I can say about it is that it has a relatively fun little single console multiplayer mode in the form of hide and seek where you trade the Game Boy off to a friend and look for each other. The actual levels are pretty bad. I could never get more than a few levels in.
I never played the N64/PS1 game at the time (although I did consider renting it a few times) but after trying it I'd say I would have loved it as a kid.

I'm fairly certain this game is bad and even knew it at the time, but I was obsessed with the movie as a kid and didn't have many other Game Boy Color games anyway so I kept giving it tries. The thing I remember the most is that there was a multiplayer mode of sorts where you'd hide somewhere and then give the Game Boy to someone else so they could search for you. That was pretty alright. The actual game was like a bad generic 2D platformer.
