those fuckin shoulders i cant
the Genesis version got all this vapid hype back in the day, scanning the drawings from the animators, blah blah blah, and Capcom who has been making Disney Nintendo games since the mid 80s knocked it outta the fuckin park and made a much better looking and sounding game.
You bring this up 10 years ago on /vr/ you would have a bunch of genbros screaming "FILTERED" ...you don't hear that much kinda talk nowadays. i imagine in another 10 years the SNES version will be too difficult for the kiderinos, i easily beat this game at 6/7 years old.

> i want so badly to want others to belive i know how to code
i mean, or, we could get into a conversation of actual substance... but you aren't really capable of that, are you?
...you know what was cool? finding literally ONE free byte in the header of the simcity save file format to store mouse speed, storing it in battery backed ram on the exact frame that it is set, reverse engineering and hijacking the checksum fixing routine from the hidden debug menu so the game doesn't just delete all of the data, but most of all, pushing the purple plunger to watch the actual console with the actual mouse wake up the ol' CRT with the mouse set the same hardware speed that it was shut off at. that's fuckin magic; and it fills me with a great sense of pride and accomplishment that just can't be replicated anywhere else.
i love what i do, i love helping people, and i love fuckin with video games. what do you love?

> I keep restarting after the first few levels I finish.
don't. ya got 96 or more fuckin levels to fill up. they probably are more awesome than you think.
you can't get better at making shit without making shit. keep at it.

honestly ask ChatGPT, it may spout some bullshit but it can get you unstuck and lead you in the right(ish) direction

yes, it has it's flaws, but it's the best thing that exists.
the real issue is you need to understand like 10 concepts to get things displaying and moving on screen, and you can't really understand 1 of them properly until you understand the other 9, so how the hell do you teach that? it's a bashing your head against the wall slogfest for a while and most people give up, but if you can survive it's fuckin awesome.

>just gotta take a break soemtimes
this applies to so many things in life. fresh eyes, fresh fingers and fresh motivation does wonders. if you are grinding hardcore, your brain can get stuck in bad patterns, a healthy dose of time will fix that.
