Disney did have a lot of winners for their properties in video games back then. Between Capcom and Sega, they adapted the IPs well for video games.

I'm not totally against musicals, it is entertaining when South Park does it sometimes, but for the most part having a random dance/musical number within a movie just doesn't vibe with me. It is kind of like how maybe sometimes movies just have to have random love-interest drama just awkwardly placed into the stories for no reason, makes it feel forced for some reason.

The first Rescue Rangers was great co-op fun. It wasn't really a favorite show, it just had an interesting character with occasionally interesting story, but mostly duds. Yet it was adapted by the right devs to make something enjoyable. Maybe they could have made a Shantae-like game with Tangled or an open world GTA clone with Zootopia using the Dead Rising engine. Capcom did great with their Disney licenses, I still love Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 a lot.

It is a great co-op game. Capcom was on fire with the Megaman engine at the time. Great memories playing the two NES games, but the show was just par for the course aside from Gadget.

I liked Tiny Toon Adventures: Scary Dreams for the cool combos that you can do. Treasure staff probably had a good working relationship with the rights holders of the series.

I remember them to be pretty good in my day.

They got the others of the Disney afternoons but skipped out on Gummi Bears. Figured they could do something with a bouncing mechanic.

Most of the games from the series ended out pretty good. The NES one is probably the most standout one for me too.

It was a solid platformer experience. Very well done for the console and a quality licensed game. The team is indeed talented.

Tiny Toons had a lot of great games. The property was well treated. I still remember that it was a series created by a group of schoolgirls pretending to be Steven Spielberg mailing Fox, sad not much more is done since aside from when Treasure wants to get back to basics with the excellent GBA game.

As in now, when they have bought up those studios/IPs? I guess, promotional DLC to Monster Hunter for those IPs themed cosmetics. Like actually calling some weapons "lightsabers" with the same sound, but still behaving like a lot of other swords. maybe some hats in Resident Evil.

I like it. It holds up to me after the first level, it has the same platforming fun of the Mario games. You might be thinking about the sequel which was tough but it was also very good too.

When I was young, I was always trying to compare the Ghost/Goblins series with the Castlevania ones. I always preferred the Castlevania games, but the Gn'G games always reviewed better in the magazines I read. That's when I learned the magazine reviews do not reflect my opinions and they can have differing tastes. Death was a huge barrier for me too back then, when I get past him, Dracula was way easier, subverting my expectations.
