It took me fucking years to figure it out (no internet the time) that at that part where you must jump between a bunch of pencils, you have to be at regular walking speed when sliding down, and hold down the right direction button to get through. If you don't, you will fuck up every single time.


Oh, and the last level at Eat at Joe's. Fucking shit.

My heart rate rises dramatically when I play this level and these fuckers appear.

I used to have the PC version of this game, it was one of my favorites despite not being able to get past Band Land. I did manage to beat Rayman 2 though.

I beat the original a few years back, and god damn was it hard. The worst parts in the game are probably the bouncing part in Pencil Pentathlon and pic related. The final boss was very dissapointing though, but the game was still very satisfying to beat.

I read an interview where the developers said it was so hard because they basically tested it themselves, and back then developers were usually very skilled at games.

I fucking hate these fish.
I can no longer count how many times I've died here.
