/vr/ - Retro Games

> Be 5 year old me in the mid 90's.
> First gaming experiences was Sonic 1 and Fantasy Zone 1 on a model 2 Master System, plus some other games I forgot.

If the buying scene wasn't so shit everywhere I would totally start a Master System collection. I know they sold reasonably well in Australia so I might get lucky one day.

I find it a bit funny how I can't really get into the NES but love master System games, yet I love SNES games but can't really get into the Mega Drive. Doesn't matter now anyway because Sega doesn't make consoles and I'm a bit of Playstation fanboy these days. [spoilers]I'm probably getting a Wii U before I get a PS4 tho.[/spoilers]

Also as an OG Sonic fan it's hard seeing him fall to the depths of autism he has. R.I.P my little blue buddy. Did the SMS Sonic games come first or the Mega Drive ones? I don't remember seeing the Mega Drive versions anywhere.
