What kind of lighting did you have in these pics? To me what is most impressive about your photos is the attention paid to contrast. You really get those 4 shades to work for you, not against you.

Because the brightness and contrast adjust automatically (despite having dials) you're never really in control. To keep from getting frustrated, I remind myself I am playing a game boy game, and that sometime the RNG just fucks you. and anyway, is it any suprise that a nintendo-made camera is also a luck-based camera?
