Any reason my CRT's convergence went to complete and utter shit overnight? Literally, was playing it one night, works fine (some slight off and on convergence issues that seemed trivial at the time) and the next day I turn on the TV and it's so fucking blurry I can't even read the text. TVs don't usually go shot that quickly I thought.

Is it advisable to dick off with a huge magnet to try and realign the rings? Anything in the service menu I can do? Or should I trash it (got it for free) and find another one?
