I like emulators a lot but I feel as though it agitates my retro gaming collection addiction. My retro game collection is bigger than ever. It started by playing with emualtors. When I play a game that I really enjoy on an emulator is causes me to desire the genuine article.. So not too shortly after, I'm headed to ebay to buy that genuine article. Now, I have a bookshelf full of expensive stuff and a shit ton of original consoles all thanks to emulators.

Mainly the reason I use originals is becuase I like the looks, sounds and smell. But those are all really good emulators. Emualtors are better on some ways, especially especially N64 and PS1 emulators. You can upscale the resolution and add anti-alisaing. That really makes those games look their next gen.

Hey the scart stuff is expensive but I dont buy retrotink stuff. That stuff is too much. So I slowly collect stuff. I could not afford to buy all the scart stuff at once. Ali epxress has a lot of nice gear for this.

Those more compact comfy setups look nice but I have a sofa at my retro gamer setup. It really nice ti go a pick a game from the library and throw it in one of the consoles.. So it looks looks crappy is messy. Im probsbly not gking to use those shitty PC speakers. Those are just on there to see how it would look.

Yea its actually disassembled right now. Adding more cube organiser and a sega dreamcast soon. It looks quite nice when its all tidied up. Theeres an extensive scart over component setting feeding to the toshiba set. Ive got a shit ton of scart cables.
The game collection is on a big bookshelf located elsewhere.

This is what I do. Some of the afee expensive thins are expensive dacing outwords but a majotiry is all lined up. I dont know whos console collection that is but its really sweet.
