This might sound cheesy, but could someone help me cheat here?
I want some poison powder early on in Breath of Fire IV, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to just get that. The closest thing I can do is use the All Items cheat and spend half an hour deleting everything, but it also gives me 99 of quest items, that can't be deleted..

Just wanna poison some bats to get shadow walk early

Are the Breath Of Fire games on par with the best of the JRPG's on PSX? Or are they generally considered a solid tier below?

Honestly a lot of jrpgs of that era. More went for more serious stories often dealing with themes of morality, death, religion, and other more serious themes.

BoFIV is pretty depressing, there's some scenes that really got to me.

Pic related. Still one of my all-time favorite games, still haven't fully beat it yet. Keep taking a break then end up starting a new game when i come back. The atmosphere is so sick. My play time as a kid was split between being stuck in the first town and fishing for hours.

I play it on the vita on my way to work and back home. It's pretty cool I'm liking it so far.

Most annoying game i ever played. Can't deny it looks great though.
