I don't see them ever including anything SNES on one of these things, largely because that's two more face buttons and shoulder buttons they'd need to add to an already kind of cramped design. The only way I could see it work is if they ditched the current mold and used one of the latter, larger G&W models, which I don't see Nintendo doing for an increasingly niche product.

I wonder how true this exactly, and to what degree.
It seems to me that while Miyamoto has some autism regarding the Mario and Star Fox and F-Zero, he knows exactly what makes Zelda good in my opinion.
Majora's Mask is the only non-Miyamoto Zelda game that I routinely replay.

To be honest, I don't give a shit about the timeline, not for a long time. But fuck me if all the theory-crafting and making connections didn't hit that autism pleasure center in my brain.

Zelda in general is a great series for making the fans speculate, because everything is so minimal in exposition. You wouldn't have people speculating something like "What Forest Temple was?" or "Are the Garo the Termina counterparts to the Sheikah?" in any other series, because the player would have been told in-game.
