You can't download any official releases since one hasn't been made in years. You gotta download compiled builds from the thread, or just use DSDA-Doom since it automatically uses the latest commits from PrBoom 2.5.1.7 um

I downloaded k8vavoom out of curiosity and it seems like a very old port. It doesn't come with 1080p resolution, have to manually type it in, and my HUD is all warped, it has the old PrBoom shitty mouse problem, runs in OpenGL with dynamic lights, comes with gameplay mods on like crit hits and headshots and has way more in the options menu, and it added these blood splats and quake particles. There are more of these old ports with weird features that make you appreciate the true bad assness of Chocolate Doom
