I'm using a Joytech AV control Center 2, and outputting the audio to a stereo amp in the cabinet.
For my other setups, I use a simple SCART switcher, again outputting the audio to a stereo amp.
The problem with A/V receiver is that they will only accept Composite and S-Video inputs, and I don't have that many of systems limited to these.
