Damn, those long-forgotten feels. That was fucking based indeed. Especially so since my big brother got our copy he brought to show-and-tell at school or summer camp was stolen by an older kid and we had to wait for a while playing only Sonic 3 again and again before my mom and I went to the mall to buy him a new one for his birthday or something (I also got to buy my very first game of my choice there, then or at another point: Gadget Twins).

Great aesthetics and music, but unbelievably hard due to incredibly fucked up controls.

I forgot, I also bought pic related probably around 95, and we eventually bought the last Sega game for sale at Blockbuster, Power Rangers: The Movie. I also played Gunstar Heroes sometime between 1994 and 96, which quickly stuck in my mind as the best game ever (my bro (SAID he) hated it, though), and didn't play it again until we learned about emulators in 2000-2001.

no longer own physical copies of anything because of emulation. but this was the absolute worst growing up that we owned. it looks so fun and innocent but it's so god damn terrible, difficult, worst music ever and controls, just fucking everything. it's an abomination.
