/vr/ - Retro Games

My gf is indifferent towards video games (besides dead island) but recently fell in love with co-op games after finding my old copy of Crash Bash. Is there anything else you guys would recommend to keep her interest? She doesn't really care for split screen as she prefers same screen but it isn't a deal breaker.

What are your honest thoughts on this creature?

I've been getting addicted to watching Crash Bash speedruns (Don't judge me) so I decided to dig it out and give it another go. It's one of those games that are very flawed but I love anyway. Though the AI can be bullshit and some of the crystal challenges are absolute cancer like Sky Balls. There should also be only one set of relics holy shit.

But I still like it, and I love the shitty stock sounds they used for the characters. The pain sounds are hilarious and the announcer is great. Brio's WUHUHU WUHAHA uWu is the best taunt in vidya history.

Very mediocre minigame compilation w/ very frustrating and badly coded AI, but i genuinely like the music and some of the set pieces (specially the warp rooms as a whole), and the few minigames that aren't shit (like the pogo ones) are actually fun to play through all the challenges.

my fav crash game, one of my fav games of all time and from what I've seen of mario party (never played it, didn't grow up with nintendo games) crash bash has more fun gameplay
but the real highlight is the atmosphere of the environments, I just find it extremely immersive and comfy
