1. when you press the switch opposite the view of the bfg you hear a lift in the distance

2. search around for it

3. leads to a red square with a bunch of teleporters

4. notice that one of them has a different pattern on the floor

5. that takes you to a tunnel with a button

6. which teleports you back to the blood canyon near the start, to find the wall (which is pointed to on the automap) has opened

7. take final teleporter to destination.
