I guess my post was a bit misleading. Yeah, you can't win stuff like GT All-Stars but you can do something like the Turbo cars only event.

Thank you anon, but I was referring to the Tom's bodykit for the road going Supra. It's inspired by that car in particular though.
I wish we had a decent Super GT or a Super taikyu game, but I guess GT is kinda that. The early-mid '90s era looks particularly cool.

A lot of stuff you would do in other vidya wouldn't apply in Ridge Racer or viceversa. Of course you can apply some basic cornering to it.
Unironically play Gran Turismo. 2 (PAL at least) came with a thick booklet explaining everything relevant and the license tests, annoying as they are can usually teach you anything you'd need for single player racing vidya.
