It's a Trinitron that I got back in 2001.

I wish I knew to turn off the Velocity Modulation earlier.

Seriously if you have a TV that can turn it off, TURN IT OFF. It sharpens the edges, but makes them look worse when playing vidya.

Sony Trinitrons are almost unanimously considered great TVs.

I think ones from 2000s are the best bang for your buck. Pretty common, great video quality and the more fancy models have several options for inputs.

I have a 20 inch Sony Trinitron flat display that I bought back in 2001 and it's awesome. Bulky, but not too heavy and still looks fucking sharp.

Finally decided to grab my old 20" Trinitron from my parents' place.

Somehow the glass desk is holding it up. It is 6mm tempered glass and I put it so the weight is on support beams, but you don't know fear.
